What an amazing 2026 Bloom Season!

Hi! It's me, Faith.
Now that the lavender season has come to an end, I've been thinking back on everything that happened this year. These past two seasons have looked a little different for us, and it's been really fun to see how the farm continues to grow.
Last year was all about learning. We were figuring out which products we wanted to offer, learning the ins and outs of hosting U-Pick events, and honestly just trying to make sense of everything that comes with running a lavender farm.
This year, I had one big goal: reach more people. I wanted more people to know that we were here! That meant stepping way outside of my comfort zone and diving into...social media. (To my dismay. 😂)
If you know me, you know I'm much happier talking to people in person than trying to figure out what to post online. Creating content doesn't come naturally to me, and I always feel a little cheesy doing it. But one thing that did make it easier was sharing photos of the fields. Thankfully, the lavender does all the hard work because it's beautiful all on its own.
I also joined Visit Lawrence County to help spread the word about the farm. Every little opportunity to reach new people felt worth trying.
I'm really proud of what we accomplished this season.
Some of my favorite highlights were:
Watching our Facebook community continue to grow.
Having so many talented photographers use the fields and create absolutely beautiful photos.
Seeing repeat visitors come back to the farm. There is nothing better than hearing, "We came back!"
Hosting our very first vendor event.
I have to talk about that vendor event for a minute because I was so nervous.
I had never planned anything like that before, and I kept wondering if anyone would actually come. It's one thing if I am just sitting in the field for U-Pick and nobody shows up but asking other small businesses to give up their time and trust us? That felt like a big responsibility. Thankfully, I had nothing to worry about.
Our vendors were absolutely amazing. They brought incredible products, positive attitudes, and were willing to take a chance on us. We had almost 200 people come out to the farm, and seeing everyone shopping, visiting, and enjoying the day made all the planning worth it. I honestly can't wait to see what that event grows into next year.
As exciting as all of that was, one of the biggest things this season reminded me of is just how blessed we are. Troy and I spend a lot of time working on the farm, but there is absolutely no way we could do this alone. From Troy's friend Matt helping with whatever project Troy dreams up next, to our family and friends coming over for lavender bundling parties, we are surrounded by people who believe in us and support this dream of ours and we don't take that for granted.
And finally, to every single person who visited the farm this season...Thank you.
Whether you came to U-Pick, attended an event, took pictures in the field, or simply shared one of our posts, you became part of our story this year. Your support means more than you know.
We're already dreaming about next season, planning new ideas, and finding ways to make your experience even better. We are so excited for what's to come and can't wait to welcome both familiar faces and new ones back to the farm next year.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for making this season one we'll never forget.
See you next bloom season!
💜 Faith
